“Second Skin”
This dark psychological drama follows a young woman after she is sexually assaulted on a night out and begins to experience a disturbing physical and emotional transformation. As black mould spreads across her body, the film uses body horror as a powerful metaphor for trauma, violation, and the lingering aftermath of sexual violence. Blending psychological realism with unsettling visual symbolism, the story explores survival, trauma, and the struggle to confront pain that cannot easily be spoken. It is a haunting and provocative film about sexual assault, embodiment, and the long shadow of violence on both mind and body.
