About the director
Andi Watson is a Scottish writer and director based in St Andrews.
After studying English Literature at the University of Glasgow, he spent more than fifteen years working professionally in photography and filmmaking before moving into narrative film.
His feature screenplay 'Viv + Eddie' was a Second Rounder at the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition and a final-four finalist in the Haydenfilms Screenwriting Competition. In 2025, he wrote and directed this short proof-of-concept based on the screenplay.
His work is character-driven, often exploring family, relationships, grief and the complicated ways people try to care for one another.
