“HOME”

HOME is a personal reflection on the loss of place through the lens of visual artist, Audrey Grant. Returning to Grangemouth, the industrial town where she grew up, after the passing of her elderly parents, Grant asks what the town might become following the closure of its Oil Refinery after 100 years. The film draws on archive film from 1965, juxtaposed with new black and white photography and filmed sequences of Grangemouth and its industry today. She asks what will come next for the people and the town in the light of the ‘Just Transition’.
