About the director
João Luís Rodrigues is a Portuguese screenwriter and director based in London, UK.
After gaining some initial experience in the camera department on film sets, he made his directing and writing debut with DRONE, a sci-fi horror short film about over-reliance on technology.
Looking ahead, he wants to continue exploring the craft of filmmaking and to develop engaging concepts that invite audiences to reflect on contemporary themes.
