Director’s Statement

I wanted to combine the themes of the weird and the eerie with the coming-of-age genre to explore the fantasy elements from an adolescent perspective. I also wanted the audience to engage with the film and feel a sense of child-like awe and wonder while maintaining a haunting essence.
