“Strange Scenes from Sock Dreams”
'Surreal Scenes from Sock Dreams' follows a teenage sock puppet's descent into madness through a series of dream encounters. Inspired by the sweet yet creepy aesthetic of artists such as Alice Snow and Nicole Dollanganger Sock Dreams takes the familiar and innocent and peppers it with late teenage angst and confusion.
Director Biography
The filmmaker, Fiona Burton, is a 21 year old, sleep deprived film student at Stirling University. She is obsessive about film and her sole dream is to make things she’s proud of and have a good time doing it. If she could take credit for making any film it would be Harold and Maude because let's face it- nothing has ever made anyone simultaneously cry and laugh harder.
