I am an experimental animator, fine artist and researcher. As a Fine Art graduate of the Bauhaus, I had extensive artistic education and this interdisciplinary preference is clear in my practice. My work is often a practice-led investigation into social change, creative communication avenues among people in conflict, and it also has a strong participatory art character. Moreover, I enjoy creating pieces with autobiographical elements that explore our relation to place and nature. I was lucky to have the opportunity to work and study in different countries and to gain a practice-led PhD in the creative arts, animation and peace-building from the Glasgow School of Art. I am currently employed as an Assistant Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
