A ship navigates to Argentina. Inside, a woman in vigil. Scattered memories. Why is that everything tastes like melted wax?
Camila Dron (Argentina, 1999) is an Argentinian audiovisual artist, animation filmmaker, and festival programmer for Festifreak. A graduate in Audiovisual Arts, she works at the intersection of experimental cinema, photography, and animation, exploring alternative image-making processes through cyanotype and artificial intelligence.
Her recent works, La próxima te acompaño and Más cables que personas, have screened at international film festivals and examine how technology shapes the way we imagine and represent the inside of the human body. Through playful and innovative visual language, Camila Dron’s work expands contemporary discussions around the body, technology, and experimental animation.
