“Buried”
Based on a true story, this Scottish drama follows Alisdair, a city boy who returns to the Scottish Highlands to reconnect with his estranged father, Chris. Together, they head into the forest near their hometown in search of a legendary set of elk antlers, turning a simple expedition into a powerful journey of family tension, memory, and reconciliation.
Set against the atmospheric landscape of the Highlands, the film explores father-son relationships, rural Scottish identity, and the emotional distance that can grow between generations. Blending myth, masculinity, and personal history, it is a moving story about bonding, healing, and the search for something lost—both in the forest and within themselves.
